What is the NYSC Green Card?

The NYSC Green Card is an online registration printout slip which is printed after online registration. It shows you’ve successfully completed the online NYSC mobilization registration. The document also shows that you have paid for your Call-up letter.

Only prospective corps members eligible to go camping can possess this acknowledgement slip which will be needed at NYSC orientation for physical verification. Features of NYSC Green Card

The Green Card contains the following information;

  1. NYSC Logo, with NYSC letter heading including the head office address.
  2. Batch you are currently in and year of service.
  3. Call-up number: it’s a unique identification number that NYSC assigns to every corps member.
  4. Personal Details: this includes your name, date of birth, state of origin, and so on.
  5. Contact: Your address, phone number and state visited.
  6. Next of kin details: Name, number and address of your next of kin.
  7. Details of the person to call when there’s an emergency. It may be your father, mother, husband, etc.
  8. Education qualification: Grade, Institution, year of graduation, course of study.
  9. Kits Specification Details: Your NYSC kit size as chosen during online registration.

Steps to Print NYSC Green Card Online

This guide will enable you to print your green card. Just adhere to the instruction(s) below:

Step 1

Visit the NYSC login page.

Step 2

Enter your email and password (created during the registration), then log in.

Step 3

On your dashboard, you will see the option to print the green card at the top and call-up letter below. However, the call-up letter will only be available at the time announced by the body – usually about three days before they open camp.

Step 4

Click on the “print slip” to download and print it.

What next after Printing your Green Card

  1. Ensure to sign the Green card using Biro ink, on the space provided at the right bottom side of the slip. Also, write the date close to your signature.
  2. Make about four(4) photocopies of the signed copy.
  3. Keep your card safe because you will need to submit it at the NYSC orientation Camp.
  4. Wait for your Call-up letter from NYSC.

Important Tips to Note

  1. A PDF reader or Adobe Reader must be installed on your computer or mobile device before you can download and print this slip.
  2. The name being green card doesn’t mean it will be green in colour.  However, the card must be printed in color to be acceptable at your NYSC camp.
  3. If you didn’t pay for the call-up letter, the green card won’t be available for printing until you make the payment.
  4. If you pay for the call-up letter at the early time of the NYSC registration (i.e within the first few days), your green card may not be loaded immediately. It usually takes a few hours or a day before you can print.
  5. Your NYSC call-up number will be made available on the green card. This is the number that people seeking help for posting (straight posting will be asked to send).
