Making payment to NYSC during registration as Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) is usually done through the REMITA payment engine. The payment portal is endorsed by NYSC so that PCMs can be able to print their Call-Up letters when the time is right.
PCMs who wish to make payment are usually directed to go to the portal home page (https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc1/Transactionstatus_Remita.aspx) to follow these simple steps:
Step 1
Click on “already Have Account” to login.
Step 2
Enter Email ID and password to login
Step 3
Click on “click here to make payment.” Once you login successfully, click on “Proceed to Payment.” As soon as the payment confirmation page is displayed, you will be redirected to Remita Payment Engine with various payment options.

Option A: How to make payment using Cards and Wallet
Here are the necessary steps to take to make payment on the REMITA platform using cards and wallet.
Step 1
Click on “Pay now with Cards or Wallets.”
Step 2
Provide your card details, pin and any other information required and if the transaction is successful, the redirect URL is loaded.
Step 3
Status of the transaction.
Option B: Paying in any Bank Branch via Remita
If you don’t prefer the first option, adhere to these simple steps to make payment in any Bank branch via REMITA platform.
Step 1
Copy the RRR number generated by the NYSC portal and take it to any of the approved banks. Click on “see available bank branches” to view the banks.
Step 2
After making the payment at the bank branch, the PCM can check payment status on the URL: https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc1/Transactionstatus_Remita.aspx PCM inputs transaction reference number/email id or phone number used in Registering online. Click on “continue” to query Remita and view the transaction details?
Step 3
Click on “Get status” to view the details of payments.
