How to Transfer Data from Glo to Airtel
In some cases, you might have enough data in your Glo line, and you might want to gift your loved ones out of it. Some of these your loved ones might not use the same line as you, and you would wonder if it’s possible to send data Glo to another network provider.
In this article, I want to show you how you can successfully send data from your Glo line to Airtel. Read on!
When writing this article, the Glo network does not allow transferring into another network. However, there is more than one method to transfer data between Glo lines.
How to Transfer Data from Glo Network
Transferring data from Glo is very easy. You can use any of the three methods I’ll show you in this article.

Glow supports sharing data with direct data code, menu USSD, or SMS. Read the analysis and explanation below.

Direct Data Code
Go to your phone’s dial pad, and press *301*recipient’s phone number#. Then press sends to share data to the specified recipient.

Menu USSD Code
- Go to the dial pad of your phone and call *777#.
- From the listed options in the service menu, select 1, which is “Data.”
- From the new options, select 2, which is “share a data plan.”
- Select “Share.”
- Then, enter the recipient’s phone number, and press send. You will receive an SMS that your data share is successful.

Data Share via SMS
- Open your message app, and create new SMS.
- Enter the word “Share” and space it, followed by the recipient’s number.
- Send the message, as composed above, to 127.
If you have carried out these steps accordingly, your data share will be successful, and your recipients will be able to use your sent data for as long as they remain in your recipient list unless you remove them.
