Funding covers students’ tuition, stipend, graduate program, and related academic expenses for three years of graduate education. You can pursue a master’s degree in any field you choose, including professional degrees in business, law, or medicine. 

The deadline for application is 27th September every year, except changes are made. The school’s website gives you all the needed information you’ll need. 

  • Rotary Peace Fellowship Program

Rotary Peace Fellowships have fully funded scholarships for up to 100 international students. These scholarships are only offered for Masters and Ph.D. studies. 

The Rotary Peace Fellowship runs in some universities worldwide, including the USA. Rotary Peace Fellowship Program covers tuition and fees, room and board, round-trip transportation, and all internship and field-study expenses for all eligible students.

The annual deadline for application is 15th May 2023, while the duration of the scholarship lasts for 15 to 24 months. 

  • Yale University Scholarship

Yale University offers fully funded scholarships to undergraduates, masters, and Ph.D. students worldwide. They provide need-based awards to students struggling with financing their education and to those from developing nations. 

The value of the scholarship is over $70,000 for the merit-based awards, while the need-based scholarship is tagged at over $50,000 per year. 

  • Harvard Business School Global Opportunity Fellowship (Africa)

This scholarship covers students who want to make a positive societal impact in Africa. These students are expected to work on improving the continent by supplementing their salaries for the first five years after the Harvard Business School.

While they are at it, the fellowship offers financial aid to all students. The fellowship bridges the gap between a recipient’s annual salary and $100,000. 

The fellowship only lasts for up to five years after graduation, the maximum award is capped at $50,000 annually and $150,000 cumulatively. 

  • Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) Scholarship Research Program

The MSC Scholarship Research Program is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students specifically studying problems and solutions in fisheries science and management in developing countries. 

The MSC only selects five students worldwide, including graduates and undergraduates. The research program lasts for only 15 months maximum and all students are entitled to about £4,000. The awards also cover travel and study grants.

  • Obama Foundation Scholars Program for Emerging Leaders To Study At the University of Chicago

This program is meant to raise leaders around the world who decide to focus on solving one social problem, not just have a zeal but make a positive impact in a short time for the public good. 

The foundation supports collaborative, innovative, and dynamic leaders for an advanced, intensive one-year academic program. Though the number of awards is not specified, the deadline for this scholarship is on the 10th of April. 

Eligible students will enjoy a fully funded scholarship to have a second degree in Art and also have an expense-paid trip during the program. 

Aside from that, they will receive training on leadership from world-class speakers, mentorship from the Obama Foundation Network, and potential internship placement among other benefits. 

  • University of New Haven Scholarship

The University of New Haven Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship for international students. This scholarship is only offered for master’s studies in the USA. 

Eligible students are taken through an in-depth study on their field of study and also a good working experience while in school.

There is also 75% tuition assistance for all students. With the combo, students can make up the needed funds for their school while studying. 

  • Short-Term Visiting Scholars Program At Michigan State University

The Michigan State University (MSU) offers a master’s and doctoral visiting scholar position for Nigerian students for five years. This scholarship is awarded to three master’s students and two Ph.D. students. 

The students will be offered a monthly stipend for up to 4 months while on their Masters, medical insurance, and an all-expense paid trip through and from Nigeria and Michigan. The deadline is 28th February. 

  • Georgetown University Scholarships for African Students

For two years, international students are offered full tuition scholarships in international affairs, international trade, international finance, statistics, history, and analytical tools.

The students are also at liberty to focus on one course in their field of study like International Relations and Security. 

This scholarship program is meant for talented students from sub-Saharan Africa with special consideration for students from Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Senegal, and Côte d’Ivoire.
