Popular Nigerian singer, Chike has expressed that a lady can’t make him feel less of himself for not providing what she doesn’t have.
He made this comment when discussing about how he has become the fancy of his ex-girlfriends
while having a chat on Pulse Podcast Network.
According to him, all the women he dated in the past came back to him when he became a celebrity.
He however said that though they did not all return to be his girlfriend again, the women sought other types of relationship because they realised he could provide for them.
“All my exes came back in some form or the other. They might not have come back as actual girlfriends but they were giving me audience because they knew I could pay bills,” he said.
Chike recounted how one of his exes asked him to buy a shoe of about 500 Euros.
He said he agreed to buy it for her, though with the condition that she must come to his house to wear it and return later to his house to remove it at day’s end.
Consequent upon this, the singer said she described him as a stingy Igbo man which he unapologetically owned up to, adding that he even told that he is all of the things she labelled him as and isn’t offended in any way.
He then noted that he cannot be shamed by any girl for being unable to satisfy her flamboyant lifestyle.
“You cannot shame me for what you don’t have,” the singer uttered.
